John Murphy, President / CEO, CR (Certified Remodeler). John worked as a carpenter while he attended Bethel College. After graduating from there with a BA in Business Administration, he put his knowledge and carpentry skills to use as he founded Murphy Bros. in 1983 out of his home.
Cherie Poissant, Design Consultant. Before Cherie started at Murphy Bros. 4 years ago, she discovered her interest in interior remodeling working for a residential interior design firm out of International Market Square in Minneapolis. She also holds a BA in Business Management with emphasis on Interior Design.
Gail Jacobson, Design Consultant. Started with Murphy Bros. this May,
with 5 years of experience within the fields of interior planning and
design projects. She carries degrees in fine arts, interior design,
and construction managment. She also enjoys volunteering at a
Minneapolis high school college and career guidance center.
Tim Woodwick, Project Manager. Before Tim worked at Murphy Bros. he gained experience in the field building log homes. He took this knowledge to Murphy Bros. in 1994 as an apprentice carpenter. Using the skills he acquired working in the field, Tim progressed through the ranks to a lead carpenter. In 2003, Tim became a project manager at Murphy Bros. with an expansive knowledge base of all facets of the remodeling process.
Dan Flaherty, Painting / Coating Dept. Manager. Dan has 30+ years experience in the paint and coatings field. He specific area of interest is in rheology, the study of the flow of matter. He volunteers quite frequently in the community as well as leading a mission trip each year, through his church.
Hans Stokstad, Architectural Draftsman. Hans holds an Associate of Science degree in Archetecural Drafting and Design. He has worked in the field of architectural drafting for over 10 years, working on a variety of structures ranging from custom log homes to residential remodeling.
Sherry Murphy, Office Manager. Sherry has been involved in Accounting and Human Resources for Murphy Bros. in the mid 1980's. She worked in retail and other general office capacities prior to being involved in the family business.
